When the pandemic hit, we took quick action right from the start, mobilizing our people, technology and resources to be there for our customers. From continuing to provide critical banking services, to improving online experiences, to facilitating access to hardship relief and government loans, BMO has remained focused on fulfilling the critical role banks play in helping to provide solutions that support the financial wellbeing of our customers today, throughout the economic recovery and beyond. To date, we’ve helped secure more than USD$5.1 billion in PPP funding, supporting more than 20,000 businesses. We’re one of the top 15 PPP lenders in the U.S. And in Canada, we’ve helped secure more than $2.8 billion in CEBA funding, supporting more than 70,000 customers.
