October 19, 2023 | Diversity, equity and inclusion

Letticia Flores-Poole and Vachon Harper-Young, bankers in BMO’s award-winning Zero Barriers to Business program, have found purpose and meaning helping entrepreneurs and small businesses thrive in the same communities they call home. And they have lots of fun doing it!

For both, BMO career development programs have affirmed the power of inclusive teams in building a thriving economy, inclusive society, and sustainable future.

BMO has been an ethical leader in banking for more than 200 years. In 2022, we launched Zero Barriers to Inclusion – our comprehensive, company-wide strategy with bold multi-year goals and commitments to do what’s right, put others first, learn from difference, and make tomorrow better for colleagues, customers, and communities.

Within our Zero Barriers to Inclusion strategy, BMO is providing equitable access to career advancement programs, learning, and talent development opportunities. The focus is strengthening the talent we have on Team BMO, fueling our Purpose to Boldly Grow the Good in business and life.

In this video, Letty and Vachon share the impact they’ve made collaborating across BMO to deliver banking solutions and financial education that help small businesses grow.
