My Financial Progress: the digital goal-planning tool putting control in clients’ hands
Launched in February 2021, the BMO Real Financial Progress Index provides insight into how Canadians feel about personal finance and changing economic conditions. In 2022, the Index began tracking Canadian financial confidence. From its baseline of 100, this metric has been trending downward, reaching 92 in June 2025. Standing out among the most concerning issues Canadians report are cost-of-living increases, inflation and apprehension with their personal financial situation.
