Darryl White named 2023 CEO of the Year

Our CEO, Darryl White, has been named CEO of the Year by The Globe and Mail.

Each year, The Globe and Mail highlights five leaders in Canada for achievements in different categories, then ultimately selects one as the overall CEO of the Year.

Along with being named CEO of the Year, Darryl was also named Strategist of the Year for our successful acquisition and integration of Bank of the West, which was the largest ever acquisition by a Canadian bank. Now, nearly 2 million new BMO customers have access to BMO’s comprehensive suite of innovative products and services, and digital banking capabilities across all 50 states, helping them to make real financial progress.
