BMO becomes the first Canadian bank to join IBM Quantum Network

BMO is the first Canadian bank to join IBM’s Quantum Network and will utilize the technology to accelerate the development of innovative client solutions, optimizing investment portfolio strategies, and uncovering deep insights into environmental risks and mitigation strategies to protect clients. 

As a member, BMO extends its technology leadership across North America and gains access to IBM’s advanced quantum infrastructure, enabling the bank to explore how the technology can contribute to the development and deployment of quantum-powered solutions across its operations.
