Powering progress: $100,000 in grants for Canadian women-led businesses driving sustainable impact
BMO, in collaboration with Deloitte Canada, is awarding $100,000 in grants to ten exceptional Canadian women-owned businesses advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Each recipient’s business will receive $10,000, national recognition, and exclusive access to BMO’s high-impact networks, including BMO for Women events, mentorship opportunities and a BMO Celebrating Women badge—designed to amplify influence and accelerate growth.
“Women-owned businesses have tremendous potential to drive innovation, create jobs and build a more resilient and thriving economy – but too often, they face barriers to accessing the investment and resources they need to grow. The BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program helps bridge those gaps by providing targeted financial support and expert guidance, enabling women entrepreneurs to achieve real financial progress and build lasting impact.”
– Sharon Haward-Laird, Group Head, Canadian Commercial Banking and North American Shared Services, Executive Sponsor of BMO for Women
“Women entrepreneurs are critical drivers of innovation and economic growth, yet they continue to face unique barriers accessing capital, networks and mentorship. Deloitte is thrilled to continue our support of The BMO Celebrating Women Grant Program, which gives women entrepreneurs the foundation they need to develop their ideas into sustainable, impactful businesses that drive economic growth and community empowerment.”
– Emmy Babalola, Partner, Deloitte Canada
