Galvanizing the next generation of changemakers at 2024 One Young World Summit
Big progress requires bold thinking. From building resilience in the face of climate change, to innovating sustainable ways to feed the world, to fostering equity across the globe, the challenges we face as a society need fresh ideas, inventive approaches and diverse perspectives – all brought forth by a generation of young visionaries driving transformational change in their communities and workplaces.
To help them get there, BMO is proud to sponsor the 2024 One Young World Summit, where bright young leaders from 190+ countries and 250+ organizations will convene to connect and collaborate on accelerating social impact.
From September 18-21 in Montreal, Summit Delegates – including our own BMO Changemakers – will participate in four transformative days of speeches, workshops, networking and mentorship from influential political, business and humanitarian leaders.
Delegates will graduate from the Summit as One Young World Ambassadors, returning to their workplaces and communities with the means and motivation to make a difference. Since 2010, One Young World Ambassador projects have impacted the lives of more than 41.56 million people.
Our 36 BMO Changemakers are either BMO employees or young scholars sponsored by two of our partner organizations: Kids Help Phone and The Watson Institute. Participants were selected for their commitment to driving progress for a better future and leadership in their workplaces, communities or schools.
