BMO ranked #1 in Canada for Digital Money Management, Security and Alerts
BMO has taken the top spot in a number of categories in Insider Intelligence’s first Canada Mobile Banking Benchmark rankings. The study, which ranks the seven largest Canadian financial institutions based on responses to a consumer survey, presents benchmarking data on the availability of 42 mobile features.
According to the report, BMO ranked #1 in Canada for digital money management, security and card controls, and mobile banking alerts – all things that help our customers make real financial progress. When it comes to money management specifically, we lead based on a robust set of features offered to our customers, this includes credit score and cash flow insights. Digital Money Management was the highest-value category in the study.
“Our strong digital offering, combined with our market-recognized leadership in advice and guidance, contribute to a seamless banking experience for our customers,” said Mat Mehrotra, Chief Digital Officer, North American P&BB. “The categories in which customers ranked us number one reflect convenience, security, and our consistent focus on helping our customers make real financial progress – wherever they are.”
In March, BMO’s CashTrack, an artificial intelligence-driven capability that identifies and helps customers avoid potential cash shortfalls, helping them get and stay ahead financially, received two awards: BAI recognized BMO CashTrack in its 2020 Global Innovation Awards, and Celent awarded the capability its 2021 Model Bank Award for financial wellness.
