Forbes names BMO Harris Bank among World’s Best Banks 2021

For the second year in a row, BMO has been recognized in both Canada and the U.S. on Forbes’ 2021 list of the World’s Best Banks.

This list is based on a survey of consumers who ranked banks on key attributes, including trust, fees, digital services and financial advice. The survey was administered to 43,000 customers in 28 countries on their current and former banking relationships.

  • continued record-breaking NPS scores in the U.S. and recognition as the #3 most reputable U.S. bank according to American Banker customer survey;
  • #1 ranking on the annual JD Power Canadian Advice & Guidance ranking and #1 ranking of Canadian card offerings in five categories on Credit Card Genius’ list of the Best Credit Cards of 2021; and
  • seamless Smart Channel Engagement that is helping customers through COVID-19. This includes hundreds of team members who took on new roles during the pandemic, launching relief programs and making 200,000+ total proactive customer calls in the U.S. in 2020, and 10,000 proactive customer calls per week in Canada.
