BMO holds 2020 Annual General Meeting

On March 31, BMO held its Annual General Meeting– and for the first time ever, the event took place entirely online.

At a time of extraordinary disruption and uncertainty, BMO CEO Darryl White described the bank’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our commitment to supporting our employees, customers, communities – and all our stakeholders. He outlined BMO’s strength and stability – and the ways we’ve created resilience in our operations. He also discussed the role banks play in sustaining the health of the economy, and the work we’re doing right now with our partners in business and government to bring us through this period.

While the current situation is unprecedented, BMO has confidence in the future – because our bank is driven by purpose, which gives us focus and conviction at a time like this.
